The event started with a photo shoot for the SSLC students,
to carry forward the memories of the school life. On the stage, the students
collectively swore an oath to become good human beings and worthy citizens of
India. Subsequently, mementoes were gifted
to the students by the school management.
Environmentalist, Author and Founder Secretary of Magnifique
Group of Educational Institutions U.S. Moinuddin conducted an interactive
session with the outgoing students and encouraged them to choose the course of
study according to their passion and not in accordance with comparison with
other students. Moinuddin said, “Students
need to identify their goals earlier in their life, this saves valuable time
and effort. The problem with most of the people is that they tend to discover their
goals later in their lives, after a lot of trial and error, leading to
frustration and anger.” Moinuddin also said, “students should learn to define
their ‘goals’ clearly and follow them with sincerity, hard work and enduring
passion. If you are passionate about law, architecture, management or
journalism, choose a course of study in accordance with your goal.”
Former head master of Crescent School and Mathematics teacher
of Magnifique School, D.A. Ameeruddin, said, “What I find very interesting
about the Magnifique School is that they give equal importance to the studies
as well as extracurricular activities. This is one of the reasons that the
students are innovative, bold and confident.”
Students of 10th Standard performed a humorous
play wearing plastic masks. The play depicted the impact of mobile phones in
our lives. The masterly done ‘talkless play’ using only expressions and
gestures called MIME, along with brilliant background music that added to the
special effects of the event, gave the message that ‘life or death’ mobile
phones control our lives.
Students came on the stage and narrated their experiences in
the school. Hashim Khan, a student of 10th
standard, said, “We thank the management for providing very good teachers
in our school, our teachers had made learning a very good experience for us.”
Before the Graduation Day for the SSLC students began,
Graduation Day was also celebrated for the UKG students who will be entering
the primary section of the school.
